OFFICIAL SELECTION: Houston International Film Festival!

Another Life was officially selected for WorldFest: Houston International Film Festival!

Not only that, Another Life was nominated for Best Original Dramatic Short!

It gets better: we are guaranteed to win an award! Only 4 shorts were nominated in this category, so at the very least we will bring home the Bronze.

This wouldn't be possible without the unbelievable talent, unparalleled hard work, and astonishing support from our cast, crew, friends, family, and fans. I am so proud of all of you!

Houston Worldfest is the oldest independent film festival in the world! Their Short Film Showcase was the first to honor Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ang Lee, Ridley Scott, Robert Rodriguez, Joel & Ethan Coen, Spike Lee, Oliver Stone, and David Lynch with their very first awards. I only hope to be mentioned in the same breath as these legends.

The festival runs April 8-17, 2011 with Another Life screening at least once.

More details soon! And don't forget our screening at DCIFF next week!

P.S. The big writing assignment goes out on the spec market this week!

P.P.S. And I'm now meeting with some new Big Hollywood Moguls who have genuine interest in finding me paid writing gigs!
